Junior Football

In 2021, the Cheltenham Junior Football Club celebrated its 30th birthday, after launching from a successful merger between St Francis and Assumption in 1990.

We have built the foundation of the Cheltenham Junior Football Club around our community with the aim of providing players with a safe, inclusive and friendly environment in which to develop their skills, build friendships and provide a family club for both players, parents and supporters to enjoy.

The Cheltenham Junior Football Club Committee is run mostly on volunteers being parents and friends of the Panthers, working together with the assistance of a paid administrator.

Home games for all teams are played at Le Page Park, Cnr Herald & Argus Street, Cheltenham. Our two ovals accommodate nearly 500 members. On Saturday mornings you will see our Auskick program. Our girls program now accounts for nearly one third of our junior members.

Over the past 5 years your committee has worked hard to bring you football ‘under lights’. In 2021 both ovals delivered match quality lights which will also provide more training opportunities for our teams.

We are proud and passionate club with a strong history, and our vision for the future is vast, exciting and we can’t wait to see what our future holds.
