Moore to help guide Rosellas Under 19s
The Cheltenham Football Netball Club is thrilled to announce Brendon Moore will join Dan Knopers as the Under 19s co-coaches for the upcoming 2019 season.
Moorey played seven games for Essendon before going on to captain Frankston where he is a member of the Dolphins’ Team of the Century and won back to back Frank Johnson Medals for his performances when representing the VFL in state matches – he is still the only player to have won it twice.
He then captain-coached Pines, where he is also a Team of the Century member and won league B&F’s. Recently he coached Beaumaris to the VAFA Under 19 Premier 2017 Grand Final.
Moorey came to the Rosellas as a senior assistant coach in 2018 and will again field that position in addition to his role with the Under 19s and will focus on providing a pathway from Under 19s to senior football.
The club is actively recruiting for Under 19 players as it builds up for a big season ahead and is able to offer free playing fees for all Under 19 players for season 2019 (Valued at $250).
